8. Name of the perpetrators: Mohammad Jashim (19) and unknown 4 others.
9. Date of recovery of girl: 1st of June, 2015.
Facts of the case:
While on 27th of May, 15 at 2 p.m. Hindu girl Ms.Pinki Rani with her mother was going to her home from the house of her aunt, some perpetrators with the leadership of Mohammad Jashim in between Satata Itbhara Brickfrield at Chariyakona forcefully picked up her from the road into CNG Motor vehicle towards unknown destination. Mother cried for help but nobody came forward for rescue of the victim girl. The victim used to study at Kishoregonj Binnati Mojid Mollah High School at Class six.
Ms. Renu Rani – mother of the victim girl lodged F.I.R. at Kotiadi police station (case No.36 dated 27.05.15) under section 07/30 of Women and Children Repression Act, 2003.
Bangladesh Minority Watch immediately talked with her mother over her cell number: 01957387330 and she requested us to rescue her daughter from the possession of the perpetrators. She informed us over phone that Ms.Pinki Rani was abducted for forceful conversion and rape. We also talked with Md. Hedaetul Islam Bhhuiya, Officer in Charge of Kotiadi Police station who informed us tonight (2.06.15) that the victim girl has been recovered but no perpetrators has yet been arrested. Now the victim is within the custody of the court. She desires to go to her mother in the court.
