कांग्रेस पार्टी बड़ी अजीब पार्टी है और इसके नेता भी बड़े अजीब हैं, पहले इन लोगों ने नोटबंदी का विरोध करते हुए कहा कि मोदी तो सबसे पैसे छीन रहा है, नोटबंदी ख़त्म हो गयी और मोदी के देने की बारी आयी मतलब देश का बजट पेश करने का वक्त आया तो ये लोग कह रहे हैं मोदी के बजट को रोको, कहीं मोदी लोगों को ज्यादा ना दे दे। केंद्र सरकार द्वारा एक फरवरी को बजट पेश करने के फैसले को चुनौती देने के लिए एकजुट विपक्ष ने चुनाव आयोग का दरवाज़ा खटखटाया है । विपक्ष का आरोप है कि इसके माध्यम से भाजपा मतदाताओं को लुभाने की कोशिश कर सकती है। कांग्रेस, बसपा, जदयू, राजद, सपा समेत विपक्षी दल गुरुवार 11 बजे चुनाव अयोग के दफ्तर पहुंचे और इस पर रोक लगाने की मांग की। जनसेवक किसी महाराजा से काम नहीं  प्रश्न यह उत्पन्न होता है कि आखिर बजट आने से गैर-भाजपाई में क्या डर सता रहा है? क्या बजट विरोधी राष्ट्र को बताएँगे कि जिस विमुद्रीकरण पर संसद में अवरोध किया, कितने नेता बैंकों की लाइन में लगे थे? राष्ट्र को बताएँ राजनीति में पदापर्ण पूर्व उनकी वित्तीय स्थिति क्या थी और आज कितनी है?  ये लोग जनसेवा के लिए राजनीति आए...

CHENNAI: Describing the Union Budget as a 'damp squib'  Tamil Nadu  Chief Minister  Jayalaithaa  on February 28 said it was full of rhetoric and lacked any tangible steps to tackle the crisis confronting the country's economy. The exercise was only a "day dream cosmetic budget," of  Finance Minister   P Chidambaram , she said in a statement here.  "The Union Budget presented in Parliament today has turned out to be an uninspiring damp squib, full of rhetoric, without any tangible steps to tackle the deep crisis confronting the Indian  economy  today...  Finance Minister P Chidambaram on February 28 did not tinker with the Income Tax slabs while presenting the Union Budget 2013-14 in the Lok Sabha. Chidambaram however said a surcharge of 10% would be imposed on those earning over Rs 1 crore in a year, for 2013-14. This would be applicable for both individuals and corporates. The Finance Minister announced that housing loan for first time loan takers of up to Rs 25 lakh would get additional deduction of interest of up to Rs 1 lakh in 2013-14. The additional exemption would mean tax benefit gets raised from Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh. Chidambaram also announced the setting up of Nirbhaya Fund for women safety and allocated Rs 1000 crores to it. Chidambaram noted that the global economic growth has slowed, including that of India. He however added that high growth is a novelty and not beyond India's capacity.
