IAC seeks President's intervention over blood sporting statement by the Law Minister Salman Khursheed
India Against Corruption (IAC) activist Kumar Vishwas on October 17 criticised Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid for threatening RTI crusader Arvind Kejriwal, and urged President Pranab Mukherjee to intervene into the matter. Salman Khurshid had responded to Arvind Kejriwal's statement that they would now demonstrate against the Law Minister in his constituency in Farrukhabad. Vishwas said that it is unacceptable for a Law Minister to speak in such a manner, and sought his immediate resignation. "The post of Law Minister was once occupied by the Father of the Indian Constitution Baba Saheb Ambedkar. And such a comment coming from a person presently occupying such a reputed post raises suspicion about his Oxford education," said Vishwas. "We are the common people of this country.
