आर.बी.एल.निगम, वरिष्ठ पत्रकार  मुस्लिम राजनीति क्या अजीब खेल है, एक तरफ मुस्लिम समुदाय मोदी और भाजपा को बुरा-भला कहती है। वोट देने में किसी मक्खीचूस को भी पीछे छोड़ देते हैं, भाजपा उम्मीदवार हिन्दू क्षेत्रों से इतनी बढ़त लेता हुआ आता है, लेकिन मुस्लिम क्षेत्रों में उसे जमानत बचाने के लाले पड़ जाते हैं, जैसा अभी दिल्ली में संपन्न हुए नगर निगम चुनावों में देखने को मिला। वहीँ उसी समुदाय की महिलाएं उसी मोदी से सहायता की गुहार लगाती हैं। पहले तीन तलाक़ पर और अब महिलाओं के खतने पर। अजीब विडंबना है। अगर नगर निगम चुनावों में केवल महिलाओं ने ही भाजपा को वोट दिया होता, वहाँ से भी भाजपा सीट निकाल सकती थी। प्रधानमन्त्री मोदी से महिलाएँ हर सुख पाने की लालसा तो रखती हैं, लेकिन वोट देने के लिए पुरुष वर्ग की बात का पालन किया जाता है। जहाँ तक खतना अथवा सुन्नत की बात है, यह तो कई वर्षों से इस्लामिक प्रथा के अनुरूप होता रहा है, यदि यह इस्लामिक नहीं है, फिर इतने वर्ष क्यों मुस्लिम महिला वर्ग यातनाएँ झेलती रहीं? वैसे कई देशों में मुस्लिम समाज में परिवर्तन किए जा चुके हैं, लेकिन भारत में कट...

Agra :  Agra police  on Wednesday  detained three Muslim men on suspicion that they were involved in vandalizing St Mary’s Church at Pratappura in the cantonment area of the city on April 16. Police has been tracking some mobile numbers after having some call records connected with the Church vandalization. The SSP of Agra, Mr. Rajesh  Modak  said the three men, identified right now only as Nasir, Zafar and Zaffaruddin, and all between 30-35 years, had been held as they were present in the area at the time of the incident, but could not satisfactorily explain what they were doing there. Their cell phones had recorded their location. The accused confessed to be around the church on the night of the crime and could not provide an appropriate reason for their presence there, he said.
