Patna, : Contractual teachers threw slippers at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar during a public meeting in Bihar's Madhepura district on September 28, police said. Angry teachers show slippers to Nitish Kumar Raising posters and placards and shouting slogans, the para teachers created a ruckus at the public meeting. These teachers had earlier protested against Mr Kumar in East Champaran, Sitamarhi and Muzaffarpur districts. The Chief Minister, however, blamed Opposition parties for instigating the para teachers. "Some of them threw four or five slippers at the stage where the chief minister was sitting to express their anger," a police official said. The teachers (known as para-teachers) were protesting against Nitish Kumar for the non-fulfilment of their demands.
