SENIOR BJP leader Yashwant Sinha has appealed Congress chief Sonia Gandhi to ask the government to "quit so that fresh elections could be held" because her team of "economic managers" has failed to revive the economy and another year would be "disastrous" for the country. "The people of India have no hopes from the present government. It is the government's mismanagement of the economy which has brought the country to this pass. Another year of this kind of mismanagement will be disastrous for India. I am, therefore, appealing to Sonia Gandhi to take a call," Sinha said in a statement. "The numbers in the Lok Sabha do not matter any more. It is the country and its future which matters the most. Her team of economic managers has let down the country badly.
