पाकिस्तान की राजधानी इस्लामाबाद की लाल मस्जिद के मौलाना अब्दुल अजीज ने ये याचिका दायर करते हुए कोर्ट से कहा था कि देश को तमाम समस्याओं से निजात दिलाने के लिए शरीयत का कानून लागू किया जाए।  हालांकि उनकी इस याचिका को चीफ जस्टीस मियां साकिब ने ठुकरा दिया। मैलाना अजीज ने दिसंबर 2015 में ये याचिका दायक की थी जिसमें राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा से जुड़ी सभी समस्याओं को खत्म करने के लिए शरीयत लागू करने की बात कही गई थी। कोर्ट के अलावा इस याचिका को राष्ट्रपति, सरकार, संसद के स्पीकर, कानून और न्याय मामलों के सचिव, सभी राज्यों के गवर्नर, काउंसिल ऑफ इस्लामिक विचारधारा को भी भेजी गई थी। मौलाना ने अपनी याचिका में कहा है कि पाकिस्तान का जन्म इस्लामिक विचारों पर हआ है इसलिए राष्ट्र की आकांक्षा का प्रतिनिधित्व इस्लामी विचार करते हैं। इसके बाद उन्होंने कहा कि इलेक्ट्रोनिक मीडिया के कारण देश का भारतीयकरण और पश्चिमीकरण हो रहा है। देश के युवा मॉडलिंग, गायन, डांस और एक्टिंग जैसे पेशों की तरफ आकर्षित हो रहे हैं। ये सब बुराइयां केंद्र सरकार और संस्थानों की लापरवाही के चलते और बढ़ रही हैं। इसके बाद मौलाना अजीज न...
