दुर्गा पूजा, सरस्वती पूजा और  हनुमान जयंती जैसे हिंदू पर्वों पर बंदिशें लगाने के बाद पश्चिम बंगाल में इस साल से छठ मनाना भी आसान नहीं रहेगा। शुरुआत हुई है सिलिगुड़ी से जहां महानंदा नदी में छठ पूजा करने पर रोक लगा दी गई है। दार्जिलिंग की जिलाधिकारी ने नदी में छठ के लिए अस्थायी घाट बनवाने से भी इनकार कर दिया है और कहा है कि जो कोई भी यहां छट मनाते देखा गया उसके खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। बहुत दबाव के बाद नदी के किनारे से कुछ दूरी पर गड्ढे बनाकर उनमें छठ मनाने को कहा गया है। बंगाल की ममता बनर्जी सरकार ने ये आदेश नेशनल ग्रीन ट्रिब्यूनल (एनजीटी) के आदेश का हवाला देते हुए दिया है। जबकि बंगाल में ही पर्यावरण को लेकर एनजीटी के कई आदेशों पर अमल नहीं हो रहा है। लेकिन हिंदू पर्व होने के नाते छठ पर पाबंदी फौरन लगा दी गई।  फूल-पत्तों से प्रदूषण का खतरा! एनजीटी ने एक अजीबोगरीब तर्क दिया है कि छठ के कारण नदी में प्रदूषण हो रहा है। जबकि छठ में ऐसा कुछ भी नहीं होता जिससे नदी प्रदूषित हो। भगवान सूर्य को अर्घ्य के रूप में नदी का ही पानी अर्पित किया जाता है उसमें थोड़े से फूल और पत्ते...
