अगले महीने की 28 तारीख को देश भर में व्यापारियों का प्रदर्शन देखने को मिलेगा और उन्होने इस दिन भारत बंद का एलान किया है। दरअसल व्यापारियों का यह गुस्सा फ्लिपकार्ट और वालमार्ट डील के खिलाफ है जो हाल ही में हुई है।  अगले महीने 28 सितंबर को देश के व्यापारी भारत बंद रखेंगे।  फ्लिपकार्ट-वॉलमार्ट के विरोध में अखिल भारतीय व्यापारी संघ ने इस की घोषणा करते हुए कहा कि यह डील खुदरा व्यापारियों को भुखमरी के कगार पर ला सकती है।  सचिव प्रवीण खंडेलवाल ने कहा कि सरकार ई-कॉमर्स कंपनियों को बढ़ावा दे रही है। ऑनलाइन कंपनियां ग्राहकों को काफी डिस्काउंट देती है, जिससे उन्हें नुकसान होने पर भी डर नहीं रहता है। 15 सितंबर से पूरे देश में रथ यात्रा भी शुरू करेगा। इस रथ यात्रा के समापन पर 16 दिसंबर को रैली भी होगी जिसमें पूरे देश के व्यापारी हिस्सा लेंगे।कैट के अनुसार आगामी 28 सितंबर को सभी व्यापारी अपने प्रतिष्ठानों को बंद रखेंगे और ई-कॉमर्स कंपनियों के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन करेंगे। सभी संगठनों का कहना है कि, आगे आने वाले समय में इस डील से उनके व्यापर पर काफी असर पड़ सकता है। इसलिए वह 28 सितंबर को भ...

, September 22, 2012, : Public Interest Litigation, Supreme Court, FDI in retail, UPA Government New Delhi: A PIL has been filed in the Supreme Court for quashing the Centre's recent notification permitting FDI in multi-brand retailing on the ground it was illegal and would affect the livelihood of 35 crore families. The petition, filed by an advocate M L Sharma, has alleged that the notification was issued without the authority of law as neither Presidential approval was obtained nor of Parliament. The petition stated that about 35 million Indian citizens were self-employed in kirana, food, vegetables and other small businesses and more than 20 crores people were trading on footpaths and their livelihood would be affected if FDI was permitted in multi-brand retail.
