Hindu Nursing Lecturer Murdered In Bangladesh For Following “No Hijab” Policy

January 11th, 2014 – Chittagong Nursing Institute lecturer Ms Anjali Debi Chaudhuri has been brutally killed by Islamic Militants. It is believed she was targeted by Islamic Chattra Shibir, the student wing of Jamat E Islami Bangladesh because she promoted a dress code at the institute which avoided the Hijab /Borka coverings for convenience and sanitation reasons after the “Hijab Movement for the Nurses” issued a fatwa making such dress compulsory for all Muslims students. Because she promoted a modern medical dress code (scrubs, not burquas), the Islamic Militant groups became upset and and brutally attacked her in broad daylight, killing her. Just a few years ago, Prof. Gopal Krishna Muhuri was brutally killed by Islamic militants in Chittagong because he was a vocal and upcoming Hindu professor who spoke for Hindu human rights.  – JFH will be joining national protests against this atrocity and will not allow these sorts of incidence to go unnoticed.

‘Anti-Hijab’ Nursing teacher hacked to death on way to college in Chittagong in Islamic Bangladesh.

HENB | Dhaka | 11 January 2015:: Unidentified assailants allegedly from Jammat Islamists hacked to death a female Hindu teacher of Chittagong Nursing College in broad daylight in the city’s Chawkbazar on Saturday morning. The teacher raised her voice recently against a Fatwa of wearing compulsory Hijab for female nursing students.

The dead Anjali Devi, 57, wife of Dr Rajendra Chowdhury, was a senior teacher of the college on the Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) campus. She along with her family used to live in a rented house at Gaser Goli of Telipatti under Panchlaish Police Station.

Sources says, Anjali  Debi Chowdhury has been brutally killed  by the perpetrators of “Hijab Movement for the Nurses” organised by the Militant Islamist group Jamayat e Islami Bangladesh guided student wing Islami Chhatra Shibir.

Deceased’s husband Rajendra said, “Anjali left home around 8:30am for her college. Within 15 minutes, the guard of the house informed him that his wife was stabbed by some youths”.

“When I reached the spot, which is around 30-40 yards off the house, I saw my wife lying in a pool of blood. I took her to the CMCH by a CNG-run auto-rickshaw.”

Quoting witness Mohammad Yasin, Panchlaish police said four youths attacked Anjali while she was waiting at Telipatti intersection for a rickshaw.

Locals could not come to save the teacher as the attackers were equipped with sharp weapons and firearms.  The criminals ran away left Anjali in pool of blood in a almost finished condition, brandishing firearms.

Anjali was admitted to the hospital around 9:45am. She died in the intensive care unit around 12:00 noon, said in-charge of CMCH police camp.

Minara Begum, principal of the nursing college, said, “As far as I know, she [Anjali] was on good terms with her students and colleagues. And I never heard of any complaint against her who had been working in the college for nearly 34 years.”

Around 400 students of the college brought out a procession in the afternoon, demanding the arrest of the perpetrators.

Mohiuddin Mahmood, officer-in-charge of Panchlaish Police Station, said, “It does not seem like a case of mugging as the attackers did not take away Anjali’s mobile phone, money and handbag. It appears to be a pre-planned murder. We are investigating to find out the motive behind the killing and the culprits.”

Pretending enough, the College and Police authority mentally attached to the Jammat Camp, actually do not want to disclose that the matter that late Anjali Devi was a series of threats from the Jammat lobby as she countered the Islamic Hijab and Burqa over the Nursing apron as a material inconvenience to the nursing students and staffs.  But, Jammat lobby took it a  challenge and compelled  to accept Hijab by 90% nursing students and staff under threatful Hijab Fatwa.

Earlier, Amjali Devi was hackled by the Jamamt Islamists as she  wanted to inspire the nursing students as per the ideals of Florence Nightingale. Then the fanatic Islamic suggested her to preach either ‘Ā’ishah bint Abī Bakr or Khadīja bint Khuwaylid’ role of service to the Ummah.

All the assailants are still at large and most of the students came to morgue to pay homage to their ‘anti-hijab’ teacher,covering themselves with hijab and burqa!
