Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantric), which has two MPs in Lok Sabha, on October!, withdrew its support to the UPA government for its "anti-people policies".
The announcement of withdrawal of support was made by its Principal General Secretary Pradip Yadav and the party's Lok Sabha member Ajay Kumar at a joint press conference here.
Besides Kumar, party president and former chief minister Babulal Marandi is JVM's other MP. "We are withdrawing support to the UPA government for its anti-people policies. We will meet President Pranab Mukherjee and submit the letter of withdrawal soon," they said.
"Our party is against FDI in retail, hike in diesel price and cap on LPG cylinders," they said.
The question is not of one or tens of MPs, but of wrong anti-people policies of UPA. FDI and rise in diesal prices by the UPA was to divert the attention of the public from the day to day scams rolling from the sleeves.
Mamata has whistled for the early mid-poll because slowly but steadily many parties are in line to withdraw their support.

After the Trinamool Congress, the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) became the second party to withdraw support from the UPA Government. The JVM(P), with its two MPs, was supporting the government from outside.

Meanwhile, the UPA Government's another key ally the Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam (DMK) made it clear that the party would support any resolution against FDI in multi-brand retail in Parliament.
At the DMK executive meeting in Chennai, the party supremo and former Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi said that even though FDI won't be a sticky point in the ties with Congress, he asked the Central Government to reconsider the decision to allow FDI in multi-brand retail
