Bharatiya Janata Party’s youth wing chief and MP Anurag Thakur on March 17 hit out at ‘anti-national’ elements and the sympathisers of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.
The BJP leader alleged that some people want to spread venom across India and create an environment of anarchy. Such people sided with the British before India gained Independence, reports IBN-Khabar.
Responding to the slogan ‘Kitne Afzal maroge, har ghar se Afzal niklega‘ chanted by ‘anti-national’ elements, Thakur said, “Jis ghar se Afzal niklega, us ghar mein ghuskar marenge”.
He further hit out at Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad for comparing RSS with ISIS, saying the Congress is defending anti-national forces because it is unable to tolerate the fact that it is out of power.
Last month, Thakur had accused the Congress of siding with ‘anti-national’ elements and joining hands with corrupt forces in an attempt to attack the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Centre.
