With general election only three months away, it is in a way good that Rahul Gandhi showed the courage to make his television debut. Monday night saw the release of the much hyped Arnab Goswami versus Rahul Gandhi blockbuster on the television screen. The angry young man Arnab Goswami had to change his role from that of a rabble-rouser to an indulgent younger brother to give a wider canvas to soft-spoken debutant Rahul Gandhi.
But it is heartening to note that Rahul Gandhi disappointed the whole country by exhibiting his confusion with respect to the pressing issues that our country has been facing. His lack of that burning desire to do anything for his party let alone for the country is evident in his demeanour and the way he communicates. From no angel, he comes across as someone who is a natural leader comfortable with the hurly burly of the politics. What is noteworthy is his hard work to inform those who have lots of hopes in the 43 year old Congress heir that he simply lacks what it takes to lead both the party and the nation. Therefore, they should leave him alone immediately. And to announce this betrayal to his grand old party, he chose the medium of television with the mellowed down Arnab Goswami meting out kids’ treatment to the reluctant prince.
Rahul dodges Modi bullet and much else
For every question, Rahul Gandhi hid behind the excuse of RTI, women empowerment and opening up of the system to more youngsters. To counter BJP’s Prime Ministerial’s larger-than-life popularity, Rahul Gandhi has tremendous belief inclusivity. As far as the anti-Sikh pogrom of 1984 is concerned, he has no idea because he was not a part of the Congress. And all those die-hard fans of Rahul Gandhi must be jumping with joy to know that he is not scared of Narendra Modi. This is Rahul Gandhi for the Congress that wants to thrust upon India a leader bereft of vision without no sense of history and cultural heritage. The televisions debut of Rahul Gandhi leaves nobody in doubt that by giving another chance to the Congress in the next Lok Sabha election will be akin to committing suicide.

The Congress has been fooling the people of India under the guise of providing governance by formulating policies that benefit only a few in power. This has become an open secret now, thanks to the BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s Herculean efforts to create awareness and to expose the Congress’s duplicity of several decades. What was on display on Monday night was another skulduggery on the part of the cunning Congress to be-fool the nation in its last ditch effort ahead of the Lok Sabha election. By unleashing an innocent looking Rahul Gandhi, the Congress wants to sow the seeds of doubts in the voters’ minds.
Sikhs want justice, not apology from Rahul Gandhi: SAD
Rahul Gandhi and the Congress would like us to believe that they don’t like grandstanding, huge rallies and propaganda bordering on grandiosity. They are innocent servants of democracy that believe in secularism, corruption free governance, people power and inclusiveness. But the facts and figures suggest otherwise. The Congress is corruption personified. In whichever State, it is in power the communal tension is palpable because it believes in the appeasement masquerading as the inclusiveness. Its idea of secularism has chained the country into shackles that stop it from taking effective actions against the enemies and have left the nation bereft of decisive leadership.

Having said this, the need of the hour is to boot out the Congress-led UPA at the Centre. The young and aspirant India deserves development to emerge as the superpower that is respected by friends and feared by foes. It must unleash its huge potential in terms of the natural resources available to create the job opportunities to give boost to the lethargic economy. The young man-power at its disposal needs a vision that can channelise its vast reservoir of energy to put the country on the path to prosperity. At present, there is only one leader who has shared his unique ideas to lead the nation to newer heights hitherto unknown and unachieved.
Rahul Gandhi interview: Nation wants to laugh!
This leader is Narendra Modi whom the ruling Congress has time and again insulted by calling a chaiwallah and other names that deserve no mention here. The most humbling quality of Narendra Modi is he wants to develop India by becoming its servant. He wants to treat India as a motherland. He does not want to treat India as his personal fiefdom unlike Rahul Gandhi and his grand parents. This is why a common man – the rich or the poor – dreams of India led by Narendra Modi as the next Prime Minister. A reluctant leader will harm the nation’s interests whereas a leader possessing the chest of 56 inches will rise to the new challenges and provide the nation the ammunition needed to surge ahead. The choices are before the nation. India will do well to reject the reluctant heir by electing the man with proven records of both good governance and development.
