WHATEVER Pakistan’s exiled Prime Minister, Nawaz Sheriff in his book Gaddar Kaun? Nawaz Sheriff Ki Kahani,Unki Zubani has tried to expose the thinking, ideology,philosophy,mindset so on and so forth about the present President of Pakistan—Military Ruler—Pervez Musharraf, could be a news for himself, but not for those who keeps an eye on Pakistan affairs. Being out of power and an effort to come back to Pakistan, throwing every dust on Musharraf and trying to prove himself the victim of Musharraf’s dictatorship. Who doesn’t know that whatever Pakistan is doing or happening in Pakistan, whose mind is behind all this? Nawaz Sheriff himself knows very well that where the shoe pinches. It’s useless to throw dust on one another.
Before blaming Musharraf, Nawaz has forgotten that at the time of Partition in 1947, Pakistan-going Muslims had shouted Hanske Liya Pakistan, Ladke Lenge Hindustan.
Secondly, what his precede Prime Ministers Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and his daughter Benazir Bhutto—now like Nawaz she too is exiled—used to say, Hindustan se hazaron salon tak ladte rahenge...
Moreso, Pakistan’s military ruler, President Zia-ul-Haq, also used to say Hum Hindustan ke hazar tukde kar denge and to fulfill his desire, he had started Operation Topaz.
Thirdly, what is taught in schools there? Pakistan’s text-books are full of poison against India and Hindus. When since childhood one is taught who are envy and trouble-shooter for Pakistan, how on getting older the Pakistani befriend with India. No, never.
Fourthly, how deceitfully Pakistan occupied a large chunk of India’s heaven—Jammu & Kashmir—which you Pakistanis recognize as Azad Kashmir and we Indians call Pak-occupied-Kashmir.
Fifthly, to say that during Kargil war Musharraf has equipped borders with nuclear targeting India, and Musharraf was doing all this you were the Prime Minister of Pakistan what preventative measures were taken. To say that USA was stunned when he told this the USA President Bill Clinton. Why only USA was informed, why UNO or other countries were not aware of such nasty games of Musharraf? Why only USA was informed, is USA the god-father of Pakistan or in other words, it could be said that the Pakistan is a slave at the hands of USA that is why USA stands with the slave, e.g. Pakistan.
A lot could be written about the betray and poisoning stances of Pakistan against India. Will Nawaz Sheriff be kind enough to tell the world what steps had he ever taken removed these anamolies, propping up in Pakistan against India. No Pakistani befriended with India because Hindu India is Enemy No. I to Pakistan. Leave the Hindus aside, you Pakistanis hesitate in adopting Indian Muslims as a Muslim. And talking about the friendship with Hindu India. One should not forget that since the formation of Pakistan, it has been a ploy at the hands of USA. And due to the mercy and aid by USA Pakistan is seen on the world map. Otherwise, it would have been died his own death since long ago.
The Pakistan leaders whichever parties they belong are in the fray of poisoning the masses against India. And if Pakistan leaders are really serious in friendship with Hindu India, first of all:-
a) remove all the anti-Hindu and anti-India chapters from the school/college books;
b) stop publishing anti-Hindu and anti-India articles in the print media;
c)stop anti-Kashmir propaganda;
d) stop jehad in the name of Kashmir freedom;
e) book all the terrorists and their supporters;
f) close all the terrorist training centers and their hide-outs in Pakistan and as well as in PoK;
g) call back all the terrorists dispatch to India;
h) give equal status to the minorities—Hindus—in Pakistan;
i) allow Indian films and artistes to perform in Pakistan; last but not the least hand over PoK to Kashmir to India and so on and so forth.
But as we go to the press, Musharraf too is busy in bringing out a book to counter Nawaz Sheriff. The million dollar question is that will Pervez be kind enough to disclose to the world that as why Pakistan rulers suppose USA its god-father? While Sheriff has made no any mention in this regard.
While the Sheriff’s memoirs in Urdu offer a clue to his intended audience, Musharraf’s autobiography will be penned in English. According to reports pouring, Musharraf is spending a million dollars for writing his autobiography. Musharraf’s choice of English is a deliberate one on the part of the great modernizer and Ataturk of Pakistan—his reliance on the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal, the mad mullahs of domestic Pakistani politics, puts him out of that league. Tidy post-retirement nest egg then, on the part of somebody who never looked like he had any retirement plans? The idea conjures to us vision of Musharraf doing lucrative lecture tours in the West, Bill Clinton-like, about how he gave hot chase to Osama bin Laden.
Given the many assassination attempts that have targeted him, this may be a good option. We presume his sincerity when he expressed grief over 7/11. But in that case he isn’t in control in Pakistan where, according to Pakistani journalists themselves, banned terror groups are allowed to operate freely. Sheriff has felt emboldened to say that he was left out of the loop on Kargil, where Musharraf presided over a military disaster for Pakistan. The general has countered this by releasing photographs of Sheriff’s visit to the LoC and briefing by the army high command, when preparations to launch Kargil were in progress. Interestingly, this is the first time Musharraf has admitted the army’s role in incubating Kargil, when all along we were supposed to think it was the handiwork of freedom-loving Kashmiri mujahideen. The General’s many faces will make Indians, in particular, interested in his memoirs when they published. Perhaps that’s where hope for the peace-process lies—when Musharraf’s swelling royalties convinces him.
The fact is, believe it or not, Pakistan is from the breed of scorpion who stinks whenever it suits and secondly, the Pakistan is the follower of Afzal Khan—who forwarded the hand of friendship with Shivaji with a flower in one hand and the dagger in the other but Shivaji stabbed him before he could stab Shivaji first; Sikandar—attacked Indraprastha now Bharat so many times but was accused all the time by the Hindu King Porus.
When the then Shahi Imam of Delhi’s Jama Masjid, Abdullah Bukhari, during his Pakistan visits, almost every newspaper had published the full text of his spouted venomous against India. But on the other side—three/four years back—when his own son Ahmed Bukhari, visited Pakistan none of the media carried the coverage.
During the cricket match when India’s simmer Kapil Dev—while playing in Pakistan—broke the Paki cricketer Zaheer Abbas’s challenge of Clean Bowled, why his house was stoned with the slogans that how a kafir has broken the challenge. Similar hard-hitting situation was faced by Captain Asif Iqbal as soon as he lost the test series to India. Even so the captains had to lose the job on facing defeat at the hands of India. And the matched –today—we are witnessing are observed as politics and nothing else.
At least, the readers, of the Musharraf’s forthcoming book, will be anxious to read just for one thing—any mention of USA’s role in Pakistan’s day to day politics. Musharraf who is bothered about the Muslims of Kashmir as well as of India, what effort are done to free Pakistan from United States of America—who is treating Pakistan as slave. Otherwise, none is going to support anybody without any cause, even a foolish or a mindless will not.
They should first of all understand that till Pakistan will dance on the tunes of USA, Pakistan could never prosper nor have friends in the world, leave India that is Bharat apart, because USA is playing the role what Afzal Khan had tried to play with Shivaji.
So, Pakistanis from a layman to the top should first try to free themselves and their country from the clutches of USA, instead of wasting time, energy, and public exchequer to conquer India. If any how, for instance, Pakistan succeeds in overpowering India what they will gain nothing but will get a Medal of Betrayer from the world and their position will like Begani shaadi mein abdulla diwana.
