HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF

THE SIGNS OF “BHARAT” DISINTEGRATING AND INVITING SELF-DESTRUCTION ARE VISIBLE! IN the past barbaric invaders destroyed our ancient heritage and forced their anarchic rule. Several kingdoms ruling Bharat had hardly any unity and wished to expand their territory fought with each other. Some even assisted the invaders to settle score with their enemies. Disunity of the various rulers in Bharat, helped the invaders to expand their empire in Bharat. Our ancient land had to tolerate the anarchic rule of invaders for nearly ten centuries! Britishers who came here to establish trading companies expanded their royal empire in Bharat. They ruled for two centuries with their divide and rule policy. Bharat had nearly 500 kingdoms but no ruler had any intention to form the unity amongst themselves to fight the British or the Mughals to throw them out of Bharat. Pak Schools Foster Hindu Hatred: U.S.

Washington: Text books in Pakistani schools foster hatred and intolerance of minorities, the Hindus in particular and teachers view these groups "as enemies of Islam," a U.S. government report has said. "Pakistan and Social Studies textbooks are rife with negative comments regarding India and Great Britain, but Hindus are often singled out for particular criticism in texts and in interview responses," said the report. This intolerance and prejudice also extends to other minorities like the Christians and Ahmadis, who consider themselves Muslims but are not considered so by the Pakistani constitution." INCOME TAX EXEMPTION MAY RISE UPTO RS.5 LAKH

Bangalore: It's good news round the corner as the individuals with an annual income of up to 5 lakh are now spared from filing return for the current financial year. This respite was wished-for in the Union Budget last year. Though, a circular from the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) last week indicates that this relief has been extended for this financial year. A person can now file tax returns for this financial year by July 31, 2012. Still, the exemption comes with some terms and conditions, which agrees on the eligibility of an individual to seek the exemption from filing returns. According to the Notification, only person who convince the following conditions are qualified for exemption from furnishing the tax return for the tax year 2011-12: They should have a total income does not exceed Rs 5, 00,000 and their total income consists only of income if 'Income from other sources' by way of interest, not exceeding Rs 10,000, from a savings bank account.
